Chez Biggles began in October, 2001, as a fundraising endeavor. I always loved to bake so this gave me the opportunity to do something for the people of the world trade center. I had a bake sale for Cantor-Fitzgerald and sent all the money to them. Then I learned about SAR (Search and Rescue) dogs and how many groups have to fund themselves, so I decided to help them too. With all the bake sales we've had, the most popular items are always our homemade dog biscuits and Stupid Human Treats (frosted sour cream cookies.) So, that's what you can order here:) Chez Biggles is named for a black and white dutch bunny, who fancied himself a gourmet chef. He even had his own newsletter, "BiggsNews", and would offer recipes to his readers. Biggles has since left us but his memory is alive in the inspiration he provided and his suggestion that we use our talents to help others. A percentage of all proceeds goes to help search and rescue dogs and/or The House Rabbit Society.
